Public education in Alberta is under attack.

A problematic new curriculum, funding cuts, growing class sizes and attacks on teachers—the Alberta government is making dangerous changes and children’s wellbeing and their futures are at risk.

The new curriculum ignores important topics and overloads lessons with irrelevant information that isn’t age appropriate. Funding cuts mean fewer programs, less support and lost opportunities. Bigger class sizes are leaving teachers struggling to provide support to kids that need it most. What’s more, changes to the teaching profession will destabilize our top-performing system and shift the culture of schools across the province.

Parents and teachers across the province are joining together to stand up for children and their futures.

Take a stand with us—tell the government to to put children first in our public education system.
