Public education gives all children the opportunity to reach their full potential.
This is at risk because teaching and learning conditions have been eroded. Teachers, through the Alberta Teachers’ Association, are standing up to speak out and push for well-funded classrooms with small class sizes and appropriate supports for all students.
Teachers are getting organised to push for the improvements needed to best support public education and Alberta’s schools.
We are preparing to push for these changes in the public, at the bargaining table and through upcoming school board elections.
By standing together, we will make our demand for a strong public education system heard.
